In my current role, I steward marketing and events at a not-for-profit food hall, small business incubator, and inclusive community gathering spot. I directly work with Charlotte's emerging entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses in a subsidized public market. Our mission of economic empowerment drives us to elevate brands that are women, POC, LGBTQIA+ and veteran owned.

My approach to economic mobility is guided by the tenants of placemaking and creative storytelling - I use programming and a carefully curated public space to creatively address some of Charlotte's social needs. I create events and marketing initiatives that 1. engage and empower the community, 2. inspire curiosity, 3. demonstrate an authentic approach to representation, and 4. foster cross-cultural dialogue.

I'm most proud of the many partnerships I've grown with local arts, culture, and social change-makers. My highest-impact events have been collaborations that not only serve our guests at The Market, but also become nodes for organizations to connect with each other. These hubs of activity result in vital resource-sharing, foster a larger impact and birth more partnerships that take on lives of their own.
