Dan Baisden is the Director of Neighborhoods for the City of Fort Wayne Indiana, and serves as the past chair for CNU Midwest. Prior to his current position, Dan spent years as a neighborhood planner and public art manager in Fort Wayne and Kalamazoo, as well as the Executive Director of a non-profit economic development organization in rural Ohio. Dan is passionate about the Legacy Cities of the Midwest, and has dedicated years of research toward community development and engagement strategies for communities with limited resources. Dan is a graduate of Arizona State University with degrees in Urban Planning and Urban Sociology and received his Master's in Community Development from Pennsylvania State University. Dan won the Edison Research Award in 2011 and was named one of Fort Wayne's 40 Under 40 in 2015.
