Ebony Dumas is an urban and regional planner managing projects in Wards 5-8 for the DC Office of Planning. Highly skilled at building consensus among multiple stakeholders, she has experience working in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, managing a variety of projects focusing on land use, zoning, and community visioning. Ebony is passionate about creative and public spaces as they contribute to economic development, and she has developed presentations on equitable solutions and community building for conferences, university groups, and national cultural institutions. Ebony is also a DJ who spins music that ranges from Tropical Bass, House, and Hip-Hop. She has played at small and large venues across the Mid-Atlantic Region, New Orleans, and Lima, Peru.
