In Washington, DC, LISC DC is playing a pivotal role in the development of the 11th Street Bridge Park, the city's first elevated park linking Historic Anacostia to the Navy Yard. Through strategic investments and the Equitable Development Plan, LISC DC mitigated gentrification impacts, fostering community buy-in and a lasting commitment to preserving local identity. And in Prince George’s County, Maryland, LISC DC and core partner, Capital Market, engaged community in a new and meaningful way amidst significant transit-oriented development plans along the Blue Line Corridor.
