Placemaking Week 2024

A great placemaking process involves activating the community, gathering input, sharing resources, and ultimately designing a space that provides a sense of ownership among community members. Representatives from both Playcore's Center for Outreach, Research, and Education and IMPACT Parks will share knowledge and a wealth of free resources to help community stakeholders implement placemaking processes, gather input, promote inclusive design practice, access funding resources, and participate in online learning courses to develop expertise. Examples of robust public spaces that were developed with placemaking processes will be shared.
